Common questions
How do I aim?
Drag anywhere on the screen and let go to shoot. The guide shows where the disc will land, including bounces off the walls. Dragging near the bottom gives you finer control than dragging near the top.
What are the stars for?
They count the shots you finish with in hand. One star for clearing the level, two for keeping about half of your spare shots, and three for finishing about as fast as the best play we found, which usually means spending your cards well. Every level can be cleared without a card. The stars in the bar during play show what you are on course for, so they fall as you spend shots.
Three of a colour are touching but nothing happened.
A group only clears when the disc you just fired joins it. Landing next to a group of three that was already there does nothing on its own. Frosted discs do not count until the cap is cracked, and rotted discs never count.
Where do cards come from?
Some discs have a brass seam that glints. Free one, by matching it or cutting it loose, and the card inside joins your hand. Your hand carries over between levels and holds six.
My hand is full and a new card appeared.
The game stops and asks. Swap the new card for one you are holding, or let it go for points. Nothing happens until you choose.
I failed a level and my cards changed back.
That is deliberate. A retry puts you back exactly where you stood before the attempt, so cards you spent come back and cards you found during the failed run do not carry over. Nothing is lost by trying again.
I cannot tell the colours apart.
Turn on Symbols on the main menu. Every colour gets its own shape, so the board can be read without relying on hue.
Can I stop mid-level and come back?
Yes. Close the app or leave the level and the board is kept as you left it, cards included. Continue on the main menu becomes Resume and takes you straight back.
I bought the full game on another device.
Open the unlock screen and tap Restore purchase. Purchases are tied to your Apple account and support Family Sharing.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. The whole game runs on your device. Only purchases, restores and Game Center talk to the network.
